Givaudan Flavors is looking for our Human Resources Manager for our East Hanover, New Jersey manufacturing facility.
We have an immediate need for a dedicated human resources manager to provide high quality human resources ser-vices to a site of 230 employees and growing.
Reporting to the HR Director of Operations, the HR manager aligns our goals with employees and management in our East Hanover facility.
You will serve as a trusted partner to management on human resource-related issues.

You:

You will guide our mission to support delivering a positive customer experience as we develop and manufacture unique taste and smell solutions.
What Success Is:
Help develop the manufacturing site's plans and programs as a strategic partner.
Maintain effective employee relations practices, including relationships with third-party/union representative.
Evaluate and advise on new programs/strategies as those items influence the attraction, motivation, development and retention of the people resources.
Ensure a proactive recruiting strategy, selection techniques and compliance with legislated requirements, such as EEO and ADA.
Ensures talent pool is in place for all levels of the organization and assimilate new employees into our organization.
Provide employee relations counsel to managers and employees on HR matters including performance, discipline, or-ganizational decisions and career development.
Provides interpretation and guidance on human resources policies and employment law.
Develop human resource planning models to identify competency, knowledge and talent gaps, and develop specific programs for the filling of the gaps.
Areas of focus will include talent management through proper succession planning programs for main contributor and management positions and training programs to prepare employees for more responsibilities, and general business development programs to enhance employee understanding of the business, the company, and the industry.
Implement programs to support driving Givaudan's culture towards improved customer focus, improvement and safety.
Provide on-site compensation and benefit consultation and administration including annual merit and incentive cycles, performance appraisals, and benefits inquiries.
Ensure fair and competitive positioning of salaries through internal equity and external market analysis with Compensation COE.
Manage the Worker's Compensation site program, and non occupational illness/injury Short Term Disability, FMLA and LTD programs.
This in partnership with corporate HR and the benefits department where applicable.
Success Profile o Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and 7-10 years of relevant experience o Working knowledge of employment and labor law.
o Create clear linkages between business strategy and people processes o Catalyst for and leads organizational development and change efforts o Anticipate and develop people strategies to help grow the business o Results oriented and works with a sense of urgency o Ability to establish strong relationships at all levels throughout the organization o Prior experience maintaining a positive working relationship with a bargaining unit.
o Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
