Auditorium (TriCaster) Engineer
Auditorium Support Engineer - 12 Months Contract to Permanent role Onsite East Hanover, NJMinimum 5 years of experience in technical audio / visual and event support.
Experience supporting multi-layered live events in a broadcast environment.
Execute problem determination & resolution for all audio-visual, video conferencing, and integrated room systems utilized for IME auditorium events.
Operate and manage one or more the following technologies & disciplines during live events:
Robotics Audio Graphics Virtual Technician Technical Director Newtek Tricaster experience Technical Lead Analyze trends and root cause analysis of trouble tickets to assist in the improvement of conference room performance.
Assess business impact of seriocomplex outages/problems & make recommendations collaborating with engineers & project managers Provide technical consultation, support, & act as lead site contact for all operations & maintenance Assisting with bringing new rooms on line & interfacing with client personnel to implement scheduling & reporting procedures (overseeing room-readiness acceptance testing) Recommend measures to improve performance & increase efficiency Perform, pre-event setup, first and second-level problem determination and resolution as necessary according to Client standard procedures.
Lead or assist, as required, with the support of special events, high profile senior executive meetings, town hall meetings, as directed by Client:
Set up, testing, operation, and teardown of AV & videoconference equipment; (e.
g.
video data projection systems, computers, audio and videoconference equipment, microphones, video cameras, audio systems and operation of integrated AV systems).
Install small or portable audio visual and non-integrated AV hardware Perform and report on first and second level problem determination Troubleshoot, assess, & coordinate equipment & systems repair as required Create, update and resolve trouble tickets as assigned Collaborate with other auditorium team members to align and document processes and procedures Maintain data base of information and inventory related to IME services Interface with technology vendors for equipment servicing, training, etc.
