Our products are utilized in Acute Care, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Emergency Medical, Extended Care, Dental and Physician offices.
Additionally we serve several large OEM customers.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Machine Operator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Operates machinery to fabricate, manufacture and assemble medical products.
Ensures production of medical products is performed to drawing specifications and customer requirements.
Ensures the quality policy and the appropriate elements of the Quality System are in place at the operating workstations.
Performs preventive and routine maintenance on machinery & equipment to reduce machine down time.
Ensures adequate materials and supplies are available to meet production demand.
Follows production set by the Production Manager.
Ensures quality checks are routinely performed and recorded in accordance with Viscot Quality Inspection procedures.
Notifies Quality Assurance Manager of any issues with raw materials not performing as specified.
Records all maintenance and repairs according to ISO standards.
Other duties assigned, as required.
Requirements:
Two to four years related experience.
Knowledge of safe machinery practice standards.
Excellent eye-hand coordination.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
Mechanically inclined.
Forklift helpful.
Must be proficient in English both oral and written.
