SUMMARY
This position will play a pivotal role in the company's Digital Strategy and will work with internal clients to understand their business needs and develop appropriate recommendations.
The key skill is an ability to not just measure and analyze but to provide insights for change and guidance for improvement for the firm's digital presence, marketing programs and campaigns.
RESPONSIBILITES
o Provide reports and dashboards with insights that drive changes in the business
o Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define reporting requirements for the company's global site presence
o Interact with development teams to provide implementation requirements for Adobe Omniture, and other tools.
o Test and provide quality assurance feedback to the various development teams.
o Perform ad-hoc analysis to answer business questions and drive decisions.
o Lead efforts to research and evaluate new tools/capabilities in the analytics industry
o Serve as a liaison to vendor partners to ensure success with projects
REQUIREMENTS
o 3
years of analytics experience applying data-based findings to generate site improvements
o 2 years web analytics experience & knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and analytics terminology.
o Use of web analytics tools such as Omniture, Google Analytics or Web Trends.
o In-depth knowledge of KPI creation, pathing, engagement analysis and testing experience.
o Ability to talk to development teams on implementation requirements,
o Basic experience in writing JavaScript, website design and development
o Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and data analysis
o Knowledge both SEO and SEM as a critical tactic to drive desired web visitor behavior.
o Understanding of data visualization techniques
o Understanding of survey methodologies and voice of the customer analysis using tools such as OpinionLab
o Excellent critical thinking skills and strong written and verbal communication are required.
o Bachelors in an analytical discipline and experience in web development.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
