The client is large pharmaceutical company that has been running SAP ECC 6 for years. They implemented Vistex in 2010. The client just lost their sole Vistex resource that had been there for years and they have serious issues with the internal Vistex system. They now need a senior level SAP Vistex consultant to come in and assist the company through the issues they are having.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
On a daily basis, the consultant hired is going to be working with a small and seasoned SAP internal team, as well as consultants from numerous different vendors. The consultant hired needs to be comfortable wlaking into that type of environment as well as a high-pressured atmosphere. Currently 10 out of the 12 processes within Vistex are not working properly for them. They are looking for this Senior resource to have the capability to walk in and immediately problem solve. They will be working on harmonization and stabilization of this Vistex system. They will be asked to fix system errors and process break fixes.

The client utilizes most aspects of Vistex, and therefore is looking for strong Vistex consultant with a wide breadth of experience. The consultant hired will need experience with Chargebacks, Bill Backs, and Rebates. The consultant hired will be functional in nature, but have enough technical background to debug ABAP code.

From a technical perspective, the consultant hired should have 8-10 years of functional SAP Vistex experience. The client is looking for the consultant to have come from a background in SD/OTC (not CRM, MDM, or PI). The consultant should have worked with Vistex in multiple different environments and experience working in a validated environment is strongly preferred (pharmaceutical and medical device companies).

Required Skills:

SAP Vistex: 8-10 years
Charge Backs, Bill Backs, Rebates
Background in SAP SD/OTC
Experience working in the pharmaceutical/medical device industry
Ability to debug ABAP code
Willingness to work within a high-pressure environment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
