Project Description:
Our client is a financial firm who is currently live with PeopleSoft for both Financials 9.1 and HCM 9.1. They are in the midst of a Major HR Transformation Project (18 months into) where they are converting from PeopleSoft HCM to Workday. The client is still many months away from going live with Workday for their HCM System and because so many of their internal employees are being occupied with this Transformation the client is in need of a HR Reporting Expert to support current state reporting activities using tools such as PeopleSoft, Cognos, Excel, and Access.
The ideal candidate will possess not only the technical knowledge, but be able to work independently on reports based on procedures that have already been created. They will also need a HR background to understand the needs of the clients and the business clients to be able to consult with them as needed on ad hoc reporting.

Job
Responsibilities:

Support a centralized HR reporting strategy, contributing to technology, training and communication initiatives to ensure the effective provision and delivery of reports to HR clients in alignment with business value and HR priorities.
Generate standardized reports and dashboards for the CoEs, HRBPs, and Crew Central for key HR data, metrics, programs, and processes. Develop standard reports for the Tier 1 Transaction Center and Contact Center to gauge effectiveness and efficiency of the delivery of those services. Define, plan, coordinate and implement report projects by defining project scope, estimating work, and developing project timelines for both standard and ad-hoc requests, and maintain a status report for all current reporting efforts.
Support the HR Reporting Lead in partnering with HRBPs, OCS Workforce Analytics Specialists, and the Workforce Demographics & Trends Lead in the Culture & Inclusion CoE to perform regular monitoring and reporting on workforce demographics and trends and to coordinate on generating internal standard databases and/or reports for further analysis by the CoEs.
Collaborate with the OCS Workforce Analytics team to identify opportunities to standardize and scale common HR reporting requests and develop the required HR Reporting infrastructure and/or approaches to efficiently deliver these reports. Partner with HRBPs, CoE Leads, and OCS Workforce Analytics to continually monitor scope of reporting requests and maintain appropriate ownership.
Act as a consultant to internal clients and interpret requests to determine appropriate sources of information and data mining techniques to be employed. Develop most effective ways to deliver reports to HR and business clients, leveraging advanced functionality within Cognos, MS Office suite, Workday, Cornerstone, Salesforce, and other reporting tools. Act as a subject matter expert and respond to client questions on research techniques, the resolution of technical issues, or application-related problems.
Write data extraction / reporting programs in response to report requests using the Cognos HR Business Intelligence Tool (HR BIT), in addition to leveraging reporting functionalities within Workday, Cornerstone, and Salesforce. Maintain tests, elevate, and document report content, as required.
Provide production support for client inquiries and issues related to reports generated using HR Reporting tools.
Partner with Total Rewards Compensation Specialists in Crew Central to generate baseline reports for monthly total compensation, compensation exceptions, guaranteed bonuses, and the Hired Duties Allowance (HDA) to support the salary submission and overall compensation process.
Ensure HR data integrity by supporting risk, audit and data governance activities performed by the PMO (data maintenance, storage, transmission, transfer, retention, destruction, etc.).
Maintain the integrity of HR data and reports by advocating sound development and testing practices, auditing data where appropriate, researching and solving root causes of problems, and proposing integrated solutions. Ensure data is published or shared in a consistent way so that data can be located and reused easily while reducing unnecessary duplication.

This person will be extremely involved in many different areas of the business. This includes, but is not limited to: HR Reporting Team, Project Lead, HR Technology Specialists, Workday and Big Data Analytics consultants, System Acceptance Test and Client Acceptance Test teams.

Required Skills:

Knowledge of HR policies and processes
Understanding of HR data and reporting preferred
Experience with technology and tools used to access, manage, and report information across multiple platforms preferred
Broad knowledge of spreadsheet applications, statistical and relational databases and other presentation and workflow charting tools preferred
Understanding of risk, data governance, and audit requirements
Proven teamwork capabilities
Excellent project management skills, including planning and organizational skills
Attentive to details and deadlines; ability to manage multiple initiatives

Work
Experience:
Minimum of two years of HR data and reporting experience
VUE / data experience preferred
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
