The client is live with PeopleSoft 9.1 HCM, Fin, and SCM for the majority of their business. They are currently getting ready to start a fresh 9.1 install of those same modules for what they consider their most complex Hospitals. They have 4 hospitals with a variety of legacy systems and customizations that will be going to PeopleSoft for the first time. This role calls for a very senior PM that has a career focus on the PeopleSoft Installs across the PeopleSoft Suite, HCM, SCM, and Fin. This PM will be the client PM that drives this project to eventual go live with a team of people to do the actual hands on FLC process.
Project:
The job calls for a well-spoken, seasoned Project Manager, someone with roughly 10 years of experience. This person needs to be 100% a PM expert, someone that truly calls themselves a PM, this role does not require technical or functional ability, just those abilities a PM has to speak the language and drive a project to completion. They will need to be an expert with executing to a budget, handling all status updates, communication, heavy business interaction, project milestones, going through the build phase, helping to set up a test plan, managing resources, and driving each administrative step to an eventual go live of 9.1. This person will have a large team of functional and technical experts to deal with the actual hands on FLC execution. This person needs to be 100% PeopleSoft focused SME, they do not want a functional or technical SME that can get into the actual delivery, they need this person to only approach this as a traditional Project Manager. This person needs to be able to speak to HCM, SCM, and Financials from the Project Management perspective, they need to have done several installs and must have done an implementation of 9.1 at least once recently. If they have done healthcare that would be a huge plus. It is important this person is a good communicator, they must be able to get to the point, speak directly, and be clear/concise in their answers.
The consultant will need to show on paper and via phone that they have been HCM, SCM, and Fin focused as a PM. It is ok for this person not have done every area of those modules and it is ok if they have worked those areas at different times and different projects. The PM will oversee the FLC, but not be the hands on person purely the PM.
This client already has a project plan but this person will drive weekly meetings, status updates, client input on the project, assist with budget, assist with staffing, etc. This person should be comfortable with the change mgt aspects since this is a large customer.
Project Goals:
Replace various complex legacy systems with version of PeopleSoft HR, SCM, Fin, and Payroll system (version 9.1)
o Leverage Best Practice-based business process solutions and PeopleSoft system delivered functionality to reduce time, inefficiencies and ultimately cost associated with outdated and/or manual processes
o Provide senior leadership and managers with more timely and accurate information key to making swift staffing and business-related decisions
Required:

- PM 10 years
- Change mgt concepts
- 9.1 installs, extensive install project experience
- Well spoken, organized, experience driving projects to completion, managing to budget, project plan, milestones, etc

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
